down to earth, funky, fun loving

We met Gem at a wedding fayre in Feb 2019! We instantly loved her, her personality and passion just shone through and we knew she was going to be our wedding photographer!

Gem is professional, considerate and will be your hype squad on your big day! We had our first meeting after booking Gem and she penned down all our ideas, our worries and our must haves for the day! We booked an engagement shoot and completely felt at ease, a mixture of beautiful candid and posed shots came back to us within weeks and she captured us in a way we have never seen ourselves. Due to covid the wedding was moved and the change of date was easy and not made into a big deal.

Gem came to see us a few weeks before the wedding to go over everything again and for a chat, to put any worries at ease. On the wedding day nothing was too much, she made sure to utilise the area and include everyone in the photos. I can’t recommend her enough, all our guests loved her and the vibe she brought to our wedding! She was never in anyones faces or demanding smiles, she was sociable and fun! We have definitely made a friend for life!

INCREDIBLE AND INTIMATE

The engagement shoot we had booked with Gem Wright Photography was beyond amazing! Gemma made us feel at ease and did all she could to help us feel natural. Yes we had posed photos but they did not feel awkward at all! Or forced! We found what worked for us as a couple.
The photos afterwards were uploaded in a timely manner, in fact quicker than we expected. They were password protected and she only posted them to everyone else once she had our approval, which I think is a very professional and respectful thing to do.
We will not only used the images in ‘save the dates’ and wedding invites but also to decorate the reception venue and our home. We are beyond happy with the final products. The whole experience was incredible and intimate.
I would book Gem Wright Photography for future events without a second thought!!

AMAZING SHOTS

We asked Gemma to be our photographer for our wedding in August and we were not disappointed. Gemma is fun and gets amazing shots. I love the natural photos that she got of everybody, it really showed the vibe of the whole day. We would recommend 100 times over!

We can’t recommend Gemma more!

We had her as our photographer at our civil partnership in September 2022, and she was there for about 12 hours. As soon as she arrived she took some lovely ‘getting ready’ shots, and she organised a fun outfit reveal too. The ceremony pictures were lovely, and we got some amazing group shots. The photoshoot with just us before the reception was so fun and we tried out so many different things that resulted in lots of wonderful pictures.

She captured so many nice moments at the party, and some iconic dancing shots!

Loads of our guests thought that we knew Gemma because we all got on so well and everyone loved her fun and down to earth attitude. I think she’ll be requested if any of our guests get married in the near future!

10/10 recommend!

LOVE AND SPIRIT

Gemma was the photographer at our wedding and from the moment we met her at a wedding fayre we knew she was the right photographer for us.

She straight away built a great relationship with us which is so important. We discussed the types of images we wanted and how the day would run. Gemma was there from the start of all the wedding prep right up until the party was in full swing, capturing lots of natural images throughout the day as well as the more formal ones! The natural ones are my favourites! Gemma was a huge part of our day and the way she organised the photos was brilliant – never intrusive but making sure we got the pictures we wanted!

She even went over and above by helping me get into my dress! We loved having Gemma as part of our day and the photos are amazing! She captured the love and spirit of the day perfectly! I would highly highly recommend Gem Wright Photography!

VERY CREATIVE

Wow what an amazing photographer! Gemma really did ensure our special day was just that! She was super organised as well as being very creative with her shots. Gemma arranged several meetings with us before the big day to ensure she had an understanding of what we wanted from her! Gemma’s ideas were awesome, especially the fire works sparkler shots.

ONE OF A KIND

Myself and my wife chose Gemma as our wedding photographer and she did an amazing job, was so friendly and made us laugh throughout which now looking back on photos we have them memories aswell.

After the amazing job she did we then had Gemma back again to do our family photo shoot and once again she smashed it, she’s easy to get along with and is kind and patient even with two awkward parents a moody teenager and a crying baby. Highly recommend she’s one of a kind!

ESSENTIAL

We cannot recommend Gemma highly enough. Her enthusiasm coupled with innate talent for capturing special ‘unposed’ moments and ability to deliver just what we asked for (and some shots that we didn’t even know we wanted!!) makes her an essential for any wedding or special occasion.
