⚡️2016 TREND HERE WE GO…⚡️ I rarely jump on trend ⚡️2016 TREND HERE WE GO…⚡️ I rarely jump on trends but something about the #2016trend got me. It was the year I photographed my first wedding and got the bug for the most expensive hobby I’ve ever had 📸🎥 2016 seems like another world and for me it really was. I was six years into my teaching career and a mum of one. I ended up giving teaching six more years before I was able to build up my photography biz into a full time fun-fest 🤩🤘🏻 After adding one more sprog in 2018, I’m now a full time photographer, mum of two and focusing on happiness 🖤 I owe my whole career to one of my absolute bestests who took a chance on me back in 2016 when she asked me to photograph her wedding. No timelines, no crowd, no expectations. Just light, smoke, colour, and the two of you. It’s controlled chaos in the best way 🤘🏻 I love how smoke, or even rain(!!) brings photos to life. The colour sets the mood, and the flash cuts through it all, creating something bold and intentional. These portraits aren’t about playing it safe or ticking boxes. They’re about making something that feels like YOU, not just what a wedding photo is supposed to look like 🖤 They’re not soft and pretty.
