Looking for wedding venues in the Midlands?
After photographing a LOT of weddings in the Midlands (after all, it’s where I call home), I have visited some incredible venues! I have put together a list of what I would describe as some of the best wedding venues in the Midlands to help with your wedding planning. Enjoy!
Himley Glamping
Fully aware that I am starting this list STRONG! Himley Glamping Weddings and Events has everything you could want in a wedding venue in the Midlands.
For starters, it has a real family feel. Belinda and her lovely family will make you feel at home straight away.
As the name suggests, there are glamping pods and areas to pitch a tent on site – no worrying about taxis or booking hotels! They have amazing catering options or you can provide your own. Entertainment options are also endless. This is the perfect DIY wedding venue with a festival vibe. I love it!

Rockingham Castle
Rockingham Castle in Corby is again, a strong choice for a wedding venue in the Midlands. The grounds speak for themselves, with a beautiful walled garden, stunning views over Northamptonshire and a large lawn area for relaxing with your loved ones or getting everyone involved by playing lawn games.
The ceremony room is stunning and totally fits my dark and edgy vibe. The castle itself boasts some gorgeous rooms for photos and I can even clip to the top of the tower to get an epic photo of all of your wedding guests together.

GREndon Lakes
Grendon Lakes is the perfect spot for couples who want a beautiful wedding day by the water. From the photo opportunities on the jetty, to the way the sun sets *perfectly* over the lake – you will not be disappointed!
They have both camping and glamping opportunities on site which is super convenient and means you can party all night without the worry of how you’re getting home.
The staff are fantastic and really help to make your wedding go off without a hitch!
Barton Hall
Barton Hall is a solid choice as a Midlands wedding venue. A highlight has to be the stunning orangery where you would have your ceremony. With heaps of natural light it is perfect for photographs. The orangery is almost a blank canvas which is great if you have specific styling ideas.
The grounds are gorgeous and there are plenty of areas for portraits and group shots, from outside the orangery to the greenery which is backed by rolling hills of countryside.

DIBBINS WOOD
Dibbins Wood is the perfect Midlands wedding venue if you’re dreaming of a magical woodland wedding. With outside ceremony options amongst the woodlands, and plenty of gorgeous photo opportunities, you can’t go wrong with a Dibbins Wood Wedding.
Completely secluded within a 90-acre ancient wood and surrounded by a field of wildflowers, Dibbins Wood really is incredibly beautiful.
There are a range of catering options to suit everyone, a choice of tipis and, most importantly, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows!

Dodford Manor
Dodford Manor is an exclusive use barn venue in Northamptonshire. It has an intimate vibe and the ceremony room is stunning. I especially love all the coloured lights inside the barn.
Surrounded by 20-acres of countryside, there are plenty of photo opportunities at this beautiful Midlands wedding venue.

Sywell Grange
Sywell Grange is the perfect blank slate for designing your own unique wedding. It is a wedding venue that is alllll about the setting. Nestled within the rolling countryside, you can hire your own tipis or marquee and really have your wedding your way.
There are so many photo opportunities, from the country lanes, to the wildlife-filled lake.
This is the perfect venue if you are looking to craft a bespoke wedding day.

Shustoke Farm Barns
Another utterly stunning Midlands wedding venue, Shustoke Farm Barns is the perfect choice for couples looking for a beautiful barn location with a bit of an edge.
Shustoke Barn is an 18th century red-brick barn set around a private courtyard, which is just perfect for both couple portraits and group photos.
The staff are so attentive and the food is delicious! Highly recommend Shustoke Barns for a wedding.
Bridge House Barn
Bridge House Barn is an idyllic waterfront wedding venue with both indoor and outdoor ceremony options.
Nestled in the Leicestershire countryside, there are plenty of photo opportunities and the staff are welcoming and friendly.
The tipis are a permanent fixture which means no hunting around for external companies, it’s all there for you to put your finishing touches to.

Normanton Church
Normanton Church on Rutland Water is a stunning Midlands wedding venue. Normanton Church is a deconsecrated church which means that services are civil, not religious, so it offers all of the charm of a church wedding but without many of the features typically found in a parish church – win!
I love that the church seems small and intimate, yet can still fit a good number of guests. There is also the option to have a marquee overlooking Rutland Water for your wedding reception.

Iron House
Located within the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, the Iron House is a relatively new Midlands wedding venue.
It is often used as a gallery and for art installations, so as you can imagine, there are some incredible quirky, alternative vibes. The perfect wedding venue for couples looking for something non-traditional and super fun.
The owners are fantastic and super helpful. I love this alternative Midlands wedding venue.
Boughton House
Boughton House is the beautiful Northamptonshire home of the Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry, and is a truly stunning venue for weddings.
Boughton House is a stately home with options for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. The grounds are the perfect background for beautiful wedding photos, with lots of locations to choose from.
Bonus film fact: Boughton House has been used as a filming location for a few Hollywood movies including Les Miserables (2012) and Napoleon (2023).
