An older song compared to most on this list, but isn’t it bloody beautiful?! Definitely gives 80s vampire movie vibes.

VOLBEAT – FOR EVIGT
I honestly just cannot get enough of Michael Poulsen’s voice so, naturally, I had to have some Volbeat on the list. For Evigt has a chorus sung in Danish by Johan Olsen of Magtens Korridorer (a Danish rock band). This version is perfect, but they also released an English version entitled ‘The Bliss’, so I’ve included the English lyrics below:

VITAMIN STRING QUARTET – BLACK PARADE
One for my emos! This group actually have so many rock and metal songs performed as beautiful orchestral pieces, so definitely check them out, but I chose this one for my list for no other reason other than I just love it.
APOCALYPTICA – NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
Nothing Else Matters by Metallica is such a popular metal wedding song amongst us alternatives. If you’re looking for a version that’s a bit haunting and just stunning, look no further. Apocalyptica are in a similar vein to Vitamin String Quartet in that they do some amazing classical covers of awesome rock and metal tunes.
